FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Though it opened its gates to those with memberships three weeks ago, this weekend marks the first time this year that the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo will be accessible to all.
The zoo is now allowing general admission in addition to the timed-arrival tickets issued to members.

Operating hours for the public on Saturday -- the July 4th holiday -- are noon until 7 p.m.
Most attractions are open, including the Z.O.&O. Railroad, Sky Safari Ride, Crocodile Creek Adventure Ride and the Endangered Species Carousel.
This story has been updated to include general admission guidelines, which do not require a timed arrival ticket.
The zoo is still providing the following guidance for its members purchasing tickets:
After submitting your order, you will receive a reservation ticket. Your timed ticket with a barcode can be printed or displayed on your phone at the front gate for admission.
Please note that members will “check-in” at the Zoo admission gate. A membership card, photo ID, and timed ticket will be required.
We ask that you check in with your ticket before the next ticket timeframe starts. Once you are in you can stay as long as you would like, the zoo closes at 8 pm.
You can show the barcode ticket on your phone at the admission booths just press view and print after placing your reservation to see the ticket.
