See Polyphia Flirt With Smooth Jazz on Scronky New Instrumental "Neurotica" - Revolver Magazine

Following the release of lead single "Playing God" from their upcoming album, Remember That You Will Die, Texan genre-benders Polyphia are back with another scale-climbing whirlwind of technical glory with "Neurotica."

The instrumental showcases the group's penchant for skillful noodling and funky riff exploration with their own take on rage beat, a genre characterized by dense synth lines, trap beats and low buzz throughout. Made popular by artists like Playboi Carti and Trippie Redd, you can hear these elements across "Neurotica" in part thanks to the band's collaborative process with producer Sims Cashion and musicians Luke Holland and Brady Watt.

The stunning visuals seen in the accompanying video come courtesy of famed multidisciplinary artist Nusi Quero, known for his 3D-printed corsets and other couture pieces donned by Beyonce, Grimes, Kylie Jenner and other celebrities and models. Quero designed one-of-a-kind face masks for the band to wear and created the Giger-esque guitar, bass, and drum armor seen in the video to life to create a futuristic, industrial aesthetic in line with his signature looks.

Polyphia are gearing up for their first headlining North American tour starting July 28th at the House of Blues in Houston, Texas. See below for a full list of dates. Remember That You Will Die is up for pre-order now, with the release date still to be announced.
