State Sen. Kagan Offers Advice for Smooth Voting Process - Montgomery Community Media

Marylanders will be mailed applications to request a ballot for the upcoming November election.

Sen. Cheryl Kagan (D-Montgomery), who represents Rockville and Gaithersburg, offered advice on how to easily make sure your vote is counted. For example, she recommends requesting your application through the post office and not through internet delivery.

The 2020 election is controversial for more than its candidates: Gov. Larry Hogan announced that voting will take place in person in November, and those who want to mail in a ballot can fill out a mail-in application to receive one. Some legislators called on Hogan to mail ballots to all Marylanders as was done in the primary election, instead of applications for ballots.
