Images leaked late February of the 2022 Lexus NX show off a slightly redesigned body and a new interior.
The photos were originally posted to ClubLexus.com, and show the upcoming crossover in full view. The body has been made slightly softer than the previous generation, but there are still plenty of trademark creases.
As for the powertrain, not too many details have been released. Previous reports have suggested the NX could move to Toyota’s global luxury platform, which means it will have support for a plug-in hybrid system, and also a full suite of the latest driver assistance technologies.
The interior has been radically redesigned with a large central touchscreen, encompassed by a driver-focused dashboard and a fully digital instrument cluster. The centre console has also been heavily revised, and now resembles that of the Toyota Mirai.
The 2022 Lexus NX is expected to debut in the next few weeks, when we’ll get full details about its platform and powertrain.
