I recently received my first Moderna Vaccine at the Oroville Sports Club for those age 75 and older. My appointment was at 9:40 a.m. and I showed up 10 minutes early and was told to get in line. I did so, and was given a form to complete which took maybe three minutes. I returned the form which was then returned to me and was told to stand in another line. I followed directions, received my follow-up appointment date, and told what table to report to. I sat down and was given vaccine information, possible side effects, what was normal and what would require going to ER.
I received the vaccine and looked at my phone and it was 9:41 a.m. I proceeded to the waiting room, gave them my form and exactly 15 minutes later, my name was called telling me I could leave. I again looked at my phone and it was 9:48 a.m. I could not have asked for a smoother or more well-organized procedure. Kudos of the highest degree to those in charge of this huge event … and the facility was packed!
