DEXTER, New York (WWNY) - The Frontier League Wrestling Championships took place at General Brown Saturday.
An enthusiastic crowd was on hand for the best the Frontier League has to offer.
We begin at 101 pounds as Nahjeed Abel of General Brown wins by pin over Carson Brown of Watertown.
At 108 pounds, it was Kymah Gummow of Indian River with a 19-4 technical fall decision over Gunner Glameau of South Lewis.
We move to 116 pounds, Brock Fredrick of South Jefferson with a 9-0 decision of Derek Walseman of Beaver River.
At 124 pounds, Chase Nevills of Copenhagen with a 21-6 technical fall win over Ryan Munn of Carthage.
At 131 pounds, Landon Coply of Carthage puts up a 9-1 decision of Kane Lynch of Indian River.
We move to 138 pounds, where Shay Sinitere of Carthage decisions South Lewis’ Rhylie Goodridge 11-2.
At 145 pounds, Patrick Grimsey of Lowville records a 16-7 decision over Logan Munn of Carthage.
Ryley Monica of South Jefferson posts a technical fall 15-0 decision over Nate Countryman of Carthage at 152 pounds.
We move to 160 pounds, Brady Lynch of Indian River pins Watertown’s Michael Roberts.
At 170 pounds, Kayleb Martin of Sackets Harbor pins Tristan Jarvie of General Brown.
At 190 pounds, Sean Kelly of Lowville records the pin of Connor Hickey of Carthage.
At 215 pounds, it was Matthew Marks of South Lewis with a 6-0 decision of Dominic Roes of Beaver River.
And at 285 pounds, Kamdyn Dorchester of Carthage with a 3-1 overtime win over Charlie Van Wall of Lowville.
Carthage wins the team title followed by South Jefferson and Indian River.
