Alex Rodriguez is living his best life.
On Thursday, the New York Post reported the former New York Yankees slugger was taking a European yacht vacation.
On Friday, Page Six provided some of the juicy details of his fun in the sun:
Alex Rodriguez was spotted riding down a slide off a yacht while vacationing in St. Tropez alongside several bikini-clad women on Friday. ... Rodriguez was accompanied by a bevy of beauties while aboard the luxury floater. The ladies were also seen having a good time as they soaked up the sun on the yacht deck.
The Post reported Rodriguez is on vacation for two reasons: to celebrate his purchase of the Minnesota Timberwolves and his upcoming 46th birthday.
Spies said that A-Rod was spotted having lunch in Portofino, Italy, on Thursday with friends and family at Splendido Mare hotel eatery DaV Mare. ... We hear that the former Yankees slugger and his group then boarded a luxury yacht to head to St-Tropez and Monte Carlo, as well as Ibiza, over a two-week vacation. ... A pal told us that “A-Rod was in Europe for some business meetings,” and then met family and friends to go on the birthday boat trip.

Earlier this week, the NBA’s Board of Governors approved the sale of the Timberwolves to Rodriguez and business partner Marc Lore. The pair is buying the team for $1.5 billion.
Rodriguez, who turns 46 on Tuesday, has been a regular in the headlines over the past year. From his failed attempt to buy the New York Mets to attending the inauguration of President Joe Biden, breaking up with Jennifer Lopez (who reunited with former beau Ben Affleck), renting a swanky summer pad in the Hamptons (which is just one mile from J.Lo’s estate) and becoming an NBA owner, Rodriguez’s 45th year on the planet was one he certainly won’t forget any time soon.
