Crews on scene of fire at Dollar General, Plato's Closet in Huntsville - WAFF

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) -Huntsville Police and Huntsville fire & Rescue employees were busy Saturday night.

A spokesperson for Huntsville Police Department confirmed one person is in custody in connection with a fire set at Plato’s Closet today.

Huntsville police tell us they will provide an update on the arrest soon.

There was also a fire at Dollar General on Winchester Road, near Henson Drive. We are told there are no reported injuries at this time.

Employees at Dicks in Jones Valley and at Publix on Madison Boulevard confirmed officers and firefighters were on scene at those stores. An employee at Dicks said that crews responded because of a threat of a fire, but there was no fire.
